I had my 3 best girl friends from elementary school over for dinner last night. I'm always busy when I'm studying, but I've decided to take more time for friends and hobbies - AND! I realized, that seeing my friends and taking a time of from the bad conscience, makes me feel
better (dooh - I know)

I'm writing my Colosseum assignment, and I need to do a 1½ hour presentation next Thursday -- I started It like.... today. BUT! I work my best under pressure, and i always live up to my own and my professor's expectations. it'll be fiiiine - i guess.

I can't wear my nails long atm, because I'm working so much, but I just got new nailtips and glue, so I'm ON! I also need some vitamins for my nails, they are so frakin frail... It sucks, they are never in perfect condition... >:(

I got a photo taken at a photo shop because of the pasport rules. 85 DKK... and 600 DKK for the new passport X( DAMN! But I'm goin' to Italy on a study trip from 8th October to the 17th, so I really had to get it, since I lost my pas port some time ago when my purse was stolen in a bar...

- I was just told that it's like 27 degrees (celsius) down there !! YAY !! 1½ extra weeks of summer! here at home it's just below 15 degrees now, and thats like mittens and fluffy hat weather.

Crazy freshmen intro week! + 2 outfit

It's been so long since I last had time to sit down and write. Well! I'm a tutor for the new students at classical archeology at the university, so I've been partying a bit and working a LOT!


It has been great fun, and the 15 new student a all very nice and cool! We had a toga party where I was dressed up as NIKE the goddess of victory, and that came out really satisfying. I only had 1 night to make it, so I made it really kinda simple, but great looking imo. ^^ wish I had a pic here - still waiting on the girl who took it to upload it to fb :P
Here's an outfit I wore one of the intro days.


I practiced curling my hair with my straitening iron, by pulling the hair slowly through the straightening iron with a slight bend, it makes perfect big wavy curls. I LOVE IT!


I don't own a great palette of makeup yet, so it's quite simple, but nice, and I'm wearing lashes for one of the first times on a weekday! The confidence is impenetrable!!


My favorite outfit yet! New baseball jacket from MONKI, got it for 80 DKK! and the hair bow, also from monki, for 10 DKK. I just feel cute and awesome wearing this!

This is all for now! gotta do a big assignment on the Colosseum of Rome, LOOKIN FORWARD . but it's hard work - 3 weeks until it's due.

Now the fall/winter collections are coming to the stores ! I wanna find the PERFECT jacket, and by myself a hat ^^ Monki is one of my new favorite stores!

Nail BLING

I just received these things in the mail today!!

SRY for the crappy pics. It was night time, so I only had a lamp.

I've gotten really into the nail bling, and I bought some rhinestones on ebay. The seller "glamlabel" has a wide selection of rhinestones and false nail products ^^. They also had some cheap eyelashes, so I figured I'd try them out.


I'm really happy with my purchase and It didn't take long for the package to arrive either! I'm still on the simple designs but I'm looking forward to have a little more freedom with all the stones - I belive there are 3500 pieces YAY! In many different colors and 3 different sizes.

There are 10 pairs of lashes, and the even included a small glue **free of charge** lovely <3


These are dotting pens with different size globular tips. You can draw a bit with them, but I need to practice ^^

I did my first try with a simple blue and dark purple theme.



I've tryed nail tips with gel and activator spray before. It was pretty good, but I'm not used to long nails (my own are to brittle to grow much before they brake), and I do work alot where i have to use my hands all the time, so the broke pretty fast...


I like the fact that longer nails make my hand look skinnier and more graceful than my usual "chubby" hand with short nails.

I've used all the nail tips, and shared with my sister, she bought more on ebay, at glamlabel as well..
and I'm looking forward to nail deco fun with my baby sister (she's 20 ;p)

I'm gonna try out gyaru makeup with the lashes soon ^^

Birthday party

It was my birthday the 12th of August!!! yay.... well. My mom was out camping with her boyfriend, so my boyfriends dad took my sister Anne, Søren my boyfriend, his sister Ditte and myself to Bakken, an amusementpark in Klampenborg - actually the oldest amusement park in the world !! WOW - or something.

Anyways, I love that place, and insisted on going even though it was raining pretty hard - a great tryout for my new coat :p We just went for dinner and coffee and got home, but it was a great day.

I bought some clothes and shoes from H&M for myself - and felt good about it ^^ I got Sim's 3 from my boyfriend! yay! My mom is helping me out with the payment for my study trip in October, and thats a neat gift as well!

I'm gonna throw myself a birthday party next month, I usually do, and it doesn't feel right that I haven't this year. -wishing for brighter weather~

First Aid course

This day started at 1 pm with a first aid course which is very important for us tutors to complete (only these 3 hours) so we're ready if an emergency happens at the freshmen trip that everyone's of to at the beginning of september.

after a bit of theory, it was our turn to practise with the dolls. Each of us picked up a rubber face and some lungs (plastic bags for the dolls head) and went in to our groups.

The doll was kinda creepy, but we named him Eric and that made us a bit more comfortable with havin' him lyin' around all torso-ish and shiny.

Actually Eric and I got very close at the end. I saved his life 3 times, and he was very appreciative and gave me a big ol' torso hug.

The guys from Aliento First Aid who taught us.

They where so fun and casual around the power point and included a lot of fun pics. they actually made First Aid a lot more approachable and I feel that I can make a difference in an emergency situation.

Genki con 2010

So I just got through a weekend of Genki con in Copenhagen. I went to see a few panels and the cosplay shows of course. I enjoyed seeing all the people I know from this hobby there and sharing a geeky time with everyone.Me cosplaying Ai Amano from Video Girl Ai at the con Saturday.

I wore some cosplays that I made a while ago. I chose these two because I haven't worn them to conventions much. I actually feel a little guilty that I didn't try harder to get a new cosplay done in time for the con, I just never took the time to plan and save money for it properly.

This pic is not from the con, I didn't yet find the one photo someone took of me in this. I wore this Sunday where it was VERY rainy... so I went home quick.

It was more spontaneous to make cosplay when I stayed at my mom's and didn't have to worry about bills and stuff at the same time, now I can't just go out and buy all the materials at once, I have to plan out the costs of stuff and start months in advance.

I've been wanting to make Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for a while now, and I really like the time skip version which is a bit more covered up than the regular version.

Well, I am looking forward to creating cosplay again soon, If I start now I know I'm able to get it ready for j-popcon at November!

These cons always gives me the passion back when I've been away from the manga/animé stuff for a while. But right now I have to concentrate on the new students at classical archaeology who two other students and myself are going to take care of the first weeks of their time on campus, so the final planning processes are kinda filling up my schedule these days.

Work

So... I've worked allmost every day (it seems) for the last week, and I have to work this week out aswell - Oh well - I need the money for my study trip to Italy, and my work isn't that bad. Actually I love my job!

I work in BR toy shop in the center of Copenhagen at the shopping street. I love toys and after working part time there for 4 years (in October) I know a thing or two about it.

It is a pretty simple job, but with great coworkers and a lovely environment it can be fun to come to work - even on a sunday ^^

Obsession O.o

I've been obsessed with looking at magazines about the gyaru fashion, and I've found some items I'm gonna look for when shopping next time.

I fell in love with these boots from Liz Lisa at 6,195 yen, when I scanned through the sale items at shibuya109's webpage :SO DARN PRETTY!!

Switching to english

Well! I haven't been doing this blog-thing for long, but I feel the needs to write these entrys in english just to broaden the horizont.


As I've been getting into bloggin' a bit I've naturally read more blogs aswell and what I enjoy reading about the most is japanese Gyaru/Gal fashion! I'm such a wannabe Gal right now!! I'm lovin' every bit about the styles, the hair, nails, makeup and so on.. DAMN!!! need a new wadrobe and lots of shoes!!!


Up until now, I didn't quite knew how to define my style and I wasn't shure what in particular I was goin' for when shopping, so it's all been a bit of everything and I nearly allways just shopped for sale items and neerdy character t-shirts.

Sure I always loved shoes, makeup and shopping, but I never made it important for me to follow any fashion or style because I think most western styles a too streamlined and classic - but now I FOUND IT! I feel like such a geek for not discovering this earlier.... I can't wait to go out shopping next month. had to put money aside this month, for my trip to Italy in october, so I have to wait ... buuh


Anyways, I made a decision to get some basics for my wadrobe when I go shopping AND a pair of shoes ^^. It's gonna be great fun shopping with a purpose! I've got lots of inspiration - maybe one should make a little collage of favorite items..? maybe I'll do that.

Uddannelse vs hobby!

Damn jeg ærgrer mig over at jeg er blevet så detached fra min j-pop hobby... Jeg savner mit nørderi!!! Jeg savner cosplay, conventions, japansk fashion og manga. GODDAMN!

Min uddannelse har givet mig kronisk dårlig samvittighed over min uorganiserede hverdag - især op til eksamen d. 8. Juni. - Jeg har lige afslutte 2. semester og, som de fleste andre, besluttet mig for at "næste semester vil jeg starte på en frisk og gøre mig RIGTIG umage" -_-' beh...

Jeg ville SÅ gerne have brugt al min tid på at læse, eller i hvert fald få læst hele pensum, det burde jeg kunne, men jeg havde bare fået det udskudt og udskudt - til sidst kunne jeg hverken læse af bar frustration over jeg alligevel ikke ville kunne nå det hele, men samtidig kunne jeg heller ikke lave andre fritidsting da jeg ville få dårlig samvittighed over at jeg burde læse..... jeg er lavet af LORT!
Anyways; fik jeg da set de første 25!!! afsnit af NANA animéen, læst op natten før og hev et 10 tal hjem. hurra....

jo jo, jeg er da glad for mit 10 tal, men også ret træt af mig selv over at have trukket så heldigt - jeg kunne sagtens have risikeret at få 7, og dét ville have givet mig et los i røven og motivation (jeg fik 12 første semester, så det ville have været et større skridt ned) men heldige frøken talegave trodsede jo sin egen tvivl og er igen en røv irriterende duks.

by the way! - er faldet HELT pladask for NANA serien! det er SÅ fedt, og det har virkelig fået nørde passionen til at blomstre ^^ NICE! - er nået til afsnit 38, som jeg sætter på inden jeg lægger mig til at sove.

LIGE NU: Jeg sidder på Varde kaserne, alene på vores 12 mands værelse - de 2 andre piger og den kvindelige tutor er taget hjem på weekend. Vi er i gang med den afsluttende del af vores udgravnings kursus (under udd. som klassisk arkæolog) som består af 4 ugers arbejde på en udgravning "any given place" i DK - og stakkels københavner-Frost er havnet i fucking Varde af alle steder.

Jeg skal lige hilse og sige at det IKKE er sommer i vestjylland - det har været t-shirt vejr én dag indtil videre...

Har kun været hjemme i nr. 2 weekend, og sidder her i 3. weekend og savner min kæreste mens jeg slår tiden ihjel med forum læsning, animé og film.

Mandag er det op kl. 6:30 og tilbage til skovlen fra kl. 8-16 = udmattende, men federe end jeg havde troet! her er et billede af den (før-romerske-jernalder-bo-)plads vi graver på. det er mig der har taget det, så jeg er ikke på. (billede: pladsen vi graver på)
